Giving into baser instincts and going to take a two hour nap in the late afternoon usually results in being awake at the wee hours of the night going ?!?!?! *sigh* There goes my carefully cultivated sleeping patterns. *facepalm*
Still it was an awesome, awesome nap. Warm, toasty, and oh so delicious. It was worth it. X3 Guess I’ll go post the boxing day fic now and get it over with.
SHE LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVES! My sister has lurched up from her bed and is heading for the siren sound of the brewing coffee in the coffee maker. Christmas morning at my household, ladies and gentlemen, has officially begun.
I hope that, no matter what you celebrate (or not) at this time of year, you have a safe and joyful and warm time.
I also hope that I will always treat people with respect (and good cheer) for the rest of the 364 days as well.
Though I make no promises without coffee.
Okay, off the computer and onto being with my family. Woohooo!
I guess, since everyone in the household has grown past the pajamas with footies and buttflap stage, Christmas morning has also gotten more casual and the act of opening presents more and more delayed until everyone slouches up and gets some coffee. But still! There is this kernel of mischief in me that can’t quite sleep too late on this morning of mornings, despite the wishes of the rest of the household. WAKE UP! WAKE UP! I’m calling you with my brain!
Hee, my sister came into town yesterday, and it’s been great just hanging out with her. We’ve been getting into quite a bit of mischief too. Even though there are plenty of stressors around this time of year, getting together with my family definitely isn’t one of them.
Unfortunately, I don’t get as much writing done (or any writing at all), but it’s totally worth it. I hope everyone is having a safe and happy Holiday ^_^. YAY!
Well, with coffee and three -(crunch)- no, four gingersnap men in me, I think I can handle this again.

The dashboard thing is a bit daunting; I only added about eight Toriko people and great googly moogly, you guys post a lot. XD. Today’s a free day (until 4:30, then I’m off with friends) so I’m writing more of the gourmet pirate story, figuring out tumblr (like … erm, just how do we do this tag thing?! XD) and possibly spamming the heck out of everyone else here.
