Sometimes when I’m writing something really really long, there will come several points in the narrative when the story wants to branch two ways.

Sometimes I follow the wrong rabbit hole down. Guess what just happened?! *stares at the story, exasperated* That means I have to backtrack to the point where it branched and try again. It ends up in the same place, but arrrrrrrrgh! This completely ruins the urge to write!

Most of the time, I can figure out that I’ve taken a wrong turn a few pages in. For example,  prior to this current u-turn, I went about three or so pages and didn’t lose more than 2,000 words or so.

Not this time. Why did the story have to wait EIGHT PAGES and more than 6,500 words to tell me “oops, wait, sorry, don’t past GO, don’t collect the 200 smackeroos, just get your ass back to the nearest save point and TRY AGAIN TROLOLOLOL!”

I know I have to do it, because yes, the story will be better for it, but it still makes me rather grumpy. GRRRRR.

So right now I’m sick of writing that @$#!@$ story, so does anyone have any prompts? In the mood I’m in, I can’t write porn (well, okay, honestly speaking, I can’t write porn when I’m in a great mood either) and I’m in the mood for things to be beaten up, so yeah, give me something to hit. :)

Wait, I’m typing  as if someone actually reading this blog. ARRRGH. I’m just going to be stuck with this neverending story, aren’t I? DEAR JEEBUS!
